With a history that dates back to 1920 New Era is a lifestyle sports brands that is the licensed headwear partner for global sports brands, collaborating with some of the biggest brands and artists across the world. AA Creative was originally briefed on developing a retail identity that created an area instore that consumers could connect with the brand and identify with the product enriching their retail experience. This evolved to supporting tradeshows, bespoke retail shop in shops, in store displays, windows and even special designed awards for their employees.
The initial merchandiser unit delivered a full 360 in store solution with shelves and product arms that created a branded display to create awareness, this was then supported with custom moulded acrylic heads that held and showcased the headwear, giving the appearance of floating on a steel arm. The acrylic header was also set away from the base, creating depth to the main brand callout and allowed for other partners logos to be locked up by the side of the key branding callout.
This resulted in the elements being rolled out across EMEA markets working with their customers slat wall configurations, creating a strong footprint with more retail space being given to sell the product.
