Established in 1983, Outerstuff is one of the leading manufacturers of youth licensed sports apparel in North America. Their close relationships with franchises, retail brands and retailers make them a leader in the design and manufacturing as a route to market of children’s sports apparel.

Outerstuff has more recently focused on a larger presence in the international market and as such has built several key showrooms across the globe including an EMEA headquarters in London.

AA Creative was initially approached to design Outerstuff’s showroom when the brand was first established in Europe. Such was the success of that project we were asked again to design and fit out their new updated showroom located in their European HQ in Covent Garden, London.

Outerstuff provided AA Creative with a brief to create an engaging and immersive showroom that allowed buyers and key staff to interact and pick out products. This space needed to be created to give key decision-makers the ability to understand how consumers would interact with a brand and its product, showcasing the 360-shopping experience.

The retail space was requested to be flexible and adaptable to show how different retail stores and spaces could be created. The result was a modular wall system combined with mobile floor displays that were made to be versatile and easy to merchandise. A standout feature was the rotating cube wall which showcased all the major league jerseys, this provided a fun, interactive and engaging element in the design. Additional feature areas were created with a framed T-shirt wall that elevated hero products in mesh wall displays.

The outcome has been a huge success and will provide a valuable space for sales and marketing to drive the growth of Outerstuff in the EMEA region with their customers.
